TO ENSURE ACCURATE COMPETITION RESULTS, PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW THE RATING GUIDELINES BELOW:

  1. You must be a current registered US-WKA member with a current US-WKA membership application filled out and on file in the US-WKA office.
  2. A Copy of Birth Certificate MUST be Turned in to US-WKA Statistician in order to receive rating points
  3. A member must register by March 30th of the current rating year to receive retroactive points from January 1st. If you register after March 30th, only those tournaments you enter after your enrollment date will count toward your yearly point total.

  4. The US-WKA rating period is on a calendar year (January thru December)

  5. All competitors have the right to compete in one age group for the whole calendar year. A competitor can compete for the entire calendar year at the age he/she is on June 30 of that year (See Legal Age Rule in the US-WKA rule book.)

  6. Transfer Of Points:   If a competitor transfers from a beginner to an intermediate or from an intermediate to an advance category, he/she can transfer all of the points they earned in the lower category to the higher category. In order to transfer points, you must inform the US-WKA point statistician that you are moving to the new division and ensure your points are moved with you

  7.  If a competitor is totally suspended from the US-WKA tournament circuit for any reason, he/she will be excluded form the ratings.

It is the goal of the US-WKA rating office to have the most accurate and timely ratings as possible.  For this to happen there needs to be a good working relationship between the competitor, the promoter and the US-WKA office.  Out of hundreds of competitors that participate in US-WKA events each year, 99.9% of the competitors are completely honest about their tournament wins and division/s selections.  In a very few cases a competitor may try to manipulate their point totals dishonestly to gain an advantage over another competitor. When a competitor is caught deliberately falsifying his/her tabulation sheets, he/she will be totally excluded form the ratings.

I certify that all the information above is correct and competed to the best of my ability.  I understand that any deliberate falsification of the information herein, may result in my exclusion from ratings and forfeiture of my US-WKA membership.
